What is that?
The Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube Fittings are a new development based on our long experience in the field of water cooling. They represent the next evolutionary step of Alphacool Hardtube fittings. In the development of these fittings, the focus was to solve a specific problem. PETG Hardtubes can deform at temperatures of just 60°C. Although it isn’t often that we see these temperatures, the outlets at the CPU and GPU blocks can reach this, especially if there is a problem with the loop. The Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube Fittings stop the tubing from deforming and ensures that your tube will stay in position.

What Tubing Are the Fittings For?
The Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube Fitting fits all hard tubes at their specific size. These fitting can be used for PETG, acrylic, brass and glass tubes.

What Is the Tensile Strength of the Fitting?
Compared to other fittings the tensile strength is very high. In our tests up to over 8kg loads on the fittings were not a problem. Therefore, you shouldn’t need to worry about the hard tube slipping even under higher loads.

What Distinguishes the New Fittings from Others?
Firstly, the new fittings come with an internal insert made of nylon which stabilizes the hard tube and prevents it from deforming at high temperatures. Furthermore, the fitting has an O-ring and a compression seal. Compared to a normal O-ring, the compression seal has a much larger contact surface which of course leads to a better grip and less force on a single point of the tube. The insert and the compression seal are arranged in the fitting in such a way that they reinforce the tubing on the inside and outside of it.

What Do I Have to Consider During Assembly?
The assembly of the Eiszapfen PRO Hardtube fittings is very similar to other fittings. The new part is the nylon insert which is inserted into the end of the Hartube. First the union nut is pushed onto the Hardtube and then the compression seal. Then the nylon insert is put on. Now the fitting is screwed together as usual. To make this even easier there is a hexagon socket recess in the hole of the lower part of the fitting, however, always be careful when using tools with fittings as too much leverage can damage blocks.

Please use only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
