Use your distro plate flexibly, even without installing a pump directly on it. With the Alphacool sealing cap for VPP/D5 pump mounts, an unused pump position can be securely sealed.
A pump is still required for a functioning watercooling loop, but it can now be positioned elsewhere in the system.
